The Nova Scotia Virtual School (NSVS) offers online courses to Nova Scotia high school students. Online courses are designed according to the NSVS Online Course Development and Teaching Standards which define what a lesson or activity looks like, how much time students have to spend online with their teachers and how students will be assessed during the course.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0Courses are offered during first and second semester – students are expected to sign into their courses everyday and complete the assignments that are listed.
